After cutting his teeth in residential property management for a well known London agent between 1999 and 2003, Chris moved into residential property development and gained invaluable experience as a Landlord. In 2009, looking for a change of direction, Chris set up Apparent Properties from his back bedroom. This has now grown to two offices and a thriving sales and lettings business. Chris lives in Barnes with his wife Clare and two little girls aged 4 and 2 who go to Barnes Primary and The Village Nursery.

Clare qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 1997 and then worked for De Beers in Marketing, Planning and Strategy until 2007 when she left to have her first child. Two years later, with two young daughters, she started working alongside Chris - a perfect balance of work and family life! Clare is responsible for all financial and marketing matters of Apparent Properties from rent collection to sponsoring the Barnes Fair. Clare has lived in Barnes for over ten years and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

Swedish born Louise moved from Stockholm to Barnes in 2005 with her family of three young boys and husband. Louise had a career in project management and has built and renovated homes both in London and Sweden. Having relocated several times, she has the experience and understanding of what challenges such moves entails and has a local knowledge of Barnes and its schools and nurseries. Louise is fluent in Swedish English and French and has a wealth of connections with the Swedish community in Barnes.

Isobel is a Barnes Mum who was born in Portugal and after a career in investment banking took time out to bring up a family. Having had a part time job with another Barnes Agent, Isabel was delighted to be offered the position of Property Manager and Lettings Coordinator. With her attention to detail and common sense Isabel is ideally equipped to look after our growing portfolio of managed properties.

Lisa joined the sales team at Apparent Properties Barnes Office in December 2011 bringing with her 15 years of experience and first hand knowledge of the local area having been Sales Manager for another Barnes agent for the previous four years.
