In these times of financial worry with business growth forecasts indicating virtual stagnation.

In these times of financial worry with business growth forecasts indicating virtual stagnation it is nice to know that some people are recruiting and expanding. We commenced trading three years ago with myself as the owner operating from a computer in a spare bedroom concentrating solely on rentals. A year later we opened our first office in Sheen and started sales as well. The staff comprised me, my wife Clare and a Saturday person. In May 2011 we employed our first full time lettings negotiator which has been a great success. In the last two months we have employed a full time property manager and a senior sales negotiator and have just agreed terms on a new flagship office opposite the Pond in Barnes (London SW13) which will open on the 9th December this year.
Business is good and we are looking to expand further next year. From its humble beginnings we are happy that we have expanded steadily and carefully - We have been careful never to run before we can walk and as a result all of this, growth has happened organically and with no debt. Things look rosy for next year.
The new premises in Barnes will have some additional space which we plan to rent as office space to local clients - there is a thriving market for small office space in the area and we hope to make 15 Church Road SW13 a hub for small and successful businesses in the coming months. We also plan to open our communal area to local photographers and artists to showcase their pictures and prints. Anyone interested in displaying their work or renting a space should email to info@apparentproperties.com or call 020 8878 3884.
